Good Girl, Bad Blood

Everything: 5/5

World: 3/5

Characters: 5/5

Plot: 4/5

Writing: 5/5

Review in a sentence: I loved this book and even though the case was not as good as the first one, the depth of the characters and the side plots were so amazing, that it could actually be my favorite mystery

Book:

Author: Holly Jackson

Goodreads Review: 4.41 (July 2021)

Pages: 417

Genre: Mystery

Pip is not a detective anymore.

With the help of Ravi Singh, she released a true-crime podcast about the murder case they solved together last year. The podcast has gone viral, yet Pip insists her investigating days are behind her.

But she will have to break that promise when someone she knows goes missing. Jamie Reynolds has disappeared, on the very same night the town hosted a memorial for the sixth-year anniversary of the deaths of Andie Bell and Sal Singh.

The police won't do anything about it. And if they won't look for Jamie then Pip will, uncovering more of her town's dark secrets along the way... and this time everyone is listening. But will she find him before it's too late?

My Opinion:

The way Holly Jackson handled these characters and their emotions is just outstanding, I felt so much even rereading it and following Pips thoughts and inner struggles with everything that happened, which couldn't have been handled better and also all of her relationships were done so well that even though we only saw small aspects you could feel everything. Also they case did not disappoint and you were always hooked up. I can't wait for the third Book coming on august the 5th.

Though I have 1 big Problem with the book, they had the opportunity to name it "A Good Girl's Guide to kidnap" and called it Good Girl, Bad Blood? I was so disappointed.
