Books:
Shadow and Bone Trilogy: -Shadow and Bone
- Siege and Storm
- Ruin and Rising
Six of Crows Duology: -Six of Crows
-Crooked Kingdom
- probably a third book
King of Scars Duology: -King of Scars
-Rule of Wolves
Ninth House
My Opinion:
Leigh Bardugo is my favorite Author, Shadow and Bone was good but not more than 4 stars, but Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom are Masterpieces, I love everything about them and King of Scars and Rule of Wolves are almost as good. Ninth house on the other hand is really dark and a little bit complicated, but I still loved it and need a second book.
Problematic:
In Six of Crows she as representation for queer, curvy, disabled and people of color, which is not problematic. (at least I couldn’t find anything) In Sgadow and bone she doesn’t have a lot of representation, which she tried to fix later, but instead of introducing new characters, she later said old characters are POC, which many POC’s didn’t like. When I read Rule of Wolves she kinda explained it further how Zoya ran away from her past and it made a lot more sense for me. Again I am white so I can’t really talk about it, but I see nothing really problematic about her books.
